We started class by reciting our poems as usual, "We Wear the Mask" by Paul Laurence Dunbar along with "We Real Cool" by Gwendolyn Brooks. We talked to nearby people about our weekend something good or a silver lining. Ms. Witham told the class her son dropped a glass and it shattered, then her other son led the small menace out. We did Dialectic Journal #5 and #6. Ms. Witham checked our future maps to see if we did them. We walked around for the Gallery Walk which previewed NaNoWriMo resources.
